For over a century, the Rotary Club of Monrovia has been a steadfast pillar of service and community engagement. Established 101 years ago, our club has continuously strived to make a positive impact in Monrovia and beyond. Committed to the ethos of “Service Above Self,” we undertake various initiatives aimed at enriching lives and fostering growth. Our endeavors include providing scholarships to deserving students from Monrovia High School and Canyon Oaks/Mountain Park School, enabling them to pursue higher education. Additionally, we offer scholarships for community members to attend vocational programs at the Monrovia Adult School and Citrus College, empowering individuals to enhance their skills and opportunities. Through initiatives like our Santa Clothes program, we supply school clothing to disadvantaged youth, ensuring they have the resources they need to thrive academically and socially. Furthermore, we organize leadership camps for local 11th and 8th graders, nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. Our commitment extends beyond scholarships and programs; we also actively support various local organizations such as Foothill Unity Center, Monrovia Reads, Centre Stage, Inc., Monrovia “YES” program, Santa Anita YMCA, Foothills Boys and Girls Club, Monrovia Public Library, and more. At the Rotary Club of Monrovia, we believe in building a stronger, more inclusive community through service, fellowship, and shared values. Join us in making a difference that lasts for generations to come.
